Sinbad is transitioning to USDT on the Polygon network

In response to our target market's demands and to enhance the experience of your assets on Sinbad, we are updating our stablecoin offering on the Polygon network. All Sinbad accounts currently holding USDC on Polygon will be transitioned to USDT, one of the most widely adopted and liquid stablecoins in the crypto ecosystem.

Why USDT?
After careful consideration, we’ve chosen to transition to USDT on Polygon to ensure that Sinbad users benefit from its deep liquidity, global reach, and robust integration across exchanges and decentralized platforms. This change helps us provide a more secure and seamless experience for your transactions within the Sinbad app.

What This Means for You
Your current balance of USDC on the Polygon network will be fully swapped to USDT, preserving the dollar value of your holdings. By selecting “Continue,” you agree to this change, where all future transactions on Sinbad will now be conducted in USDT on the Polygon network.

Will I Be Able to Send and Receive USDC?
Yes, USDC will now be available on the Invest page. You can still swap your balance (now in USDT) to USDC, as well as receive and send USDT. This update primarily affects your balance and transactions between Sinbad users.

Transition Details
This update will be applied automatically to your Sinbad wallet, requiring no action on your part beyond accepting the new terms. If you have any questions or prefer to retain USDC, please contact us at team@getsinbad.com.
